MRI is a highly sophisticated imaging modality that is used to create high-resolution diagnostic images that demonstrate anatomy like no other imaging modality. With nearly 30 years of experience in different radiology departments and working in many different roles, in MRI. Over the years I have seen many technologists struggle to understand complicated MRI physics concepts. Many of the publications and review material available are very physics heavy and provide complex explanations that are difficult for a non-physics major to understand. Our goal here at MRI Central is to explain as many of these complex concepts in plain easy to understand language. We hope that MRI Central will be a useful resource for the MRI technologist, MRI student, and even the MRI patient.
